2019 BEGINNERS ROOTING CLASS

Beginner Rooting

Rooting can be fun and relaxing when you master the technique that works for you! We
will explore an easy way to map and a fast and accurate way to root.
WEDNESDAY JULY 10, 2019

9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a one hour lunch break (bring your own lunch)

Included in the class

  • Rooting pillow
  • Rooting needles
  • Mohair
  • Water bottle
  • Toothbrush
  • Scissors
  • Paper Towel
  • Tweezers
  • Rooting glue
  • Pencil for mapping

    What to bring with you:

    • A small lamp, this is very important.
    • A small  size head that has been painted and is ready for rooting.
    •  rooting tool if you choose to use one (I prefer to root without a tool – I feel I have more control over my needle this way)

    Optional Items:

    • Some kind of eye magnification
    • Anything else you may want that I have not listed.

    More Information:

****I recommend bringing a smaller size head that is softer vinyl. Harder vinyl usually needs to be heated to make the rooting process easier, which could be difficult for this class.***

*I use Joann Fabric’s Pink Felting Pen.
**I use a portable table LED lamp-magnifier combo.
